This is my most recent project. I have a patient that is a rock hound and he has been bringing me a few treasures when he comes in. I promised him I would make something special to thank him. It was to be a bracelet but ended as a necklace. Sometimes things take shape on their own. Thank you James.

SoulCollage

In 2005 I attended Art and Soul, it is an art retreat in Portland, Oregon. When I was trying to decide what classes I wanted to take I came upon a class called SoulCollage. Well altered art has always been something really special to me. Whenever I would create a page, I would look for things that meant or held special thoughts to me. After taking the SoulCollage workshop, I wanted to share this speicial intuitive process with everyone. It was something I thought my cancer patient may be able to use for self exploration, creativity, relaxation. I am now able to go to a Facilitator training program, so I can actually implement this to our cancer support groups.
