Honeycomb Bracelet

This is the second class of Kimberly Stathis. Sponsored by Swarovski, my camera (maybe my taking the pictures) doesn't show you the sparkle this bracelet has. The colors are very vibrant. Fun, Fun, Fun. I didn't win on Tim's blog (again).

Razzle Dazzle Me Bracelet

Isn't this gorgeous? I am sooo proud of this bracelet. I was fortunate to be able to attend the Bead and Button Show in Wisconsin this year. What fun. I met my really good friend Arlene (great beader) and was able to see some great beading artists.

This bracelet was Designed by Kimberly Stathis (KJS Designs), I took two of her classes what a great teacher. Can't wait to meet up with her again. I will list her website so you all can look at what she has to offer. Thanks Kim.

The second bracelet is almost finished and will post pictures as soon as it is finished.

Wally Gator

I work at the Charleston Cancer Center, administering chemotherapy agents to patients. Our chemo room is glass on one entire wall, that over looks a pond. Well this pond has a gator or two? This gator entertains our patients now since it has been getting warmer. He comes out swims around regularly. The girls have told me that a few years ago he (or she) has even walked up to the front door. I got a good picture of him resting on a small plat form. Enjoy I'll send more when he is sun bathing.

Bumps in the Road

I took a class yesterday at the local bead shop Charleston Bead Company. It was a fun class, I always find I learn something new at any class I take. This bracelet is stitched with the peyote stitch throughout, you just change the size of beads to create the Bumps in the Road. It works up pretty fast, if your not spending most of your time tearing your mistakes out. Seems like I spend more time tearing things out regardless if I'm working on a quilt or beading. Oh well, my husband saids it keeps me out of the bars!!!

Brazilian Embroidery "Maya"

This is my first attempt with brazilian embroidery. It was a really fun project. I have her adorned with crystals and pearls. If you click on the picture, there is some really nice detail of the stitches used. I hope you enjoy her.
